Steve, while I understand the use of "captcha" widgets to stop spam, I've got to say the one you use, "reCaptcha", has to be the most unreadable I've ever seen ! I've just spent several minutes trying to leave a comment on Tom's portrait software review, but gave up in frustration. One of the text words is always unreadable, and the audio option is no better.

I understand. Let me look into different options with this blog software and see what I can do. I've been tempted several times to turn it off, but it never fails, the next morning I'm stuck deleting a 100 or so spams..

I'll get back to you here as soon as I learn something.

I disabled reCaptcha and enabled Captcha.. would should work out a lot better provided you know your fruit. ;o)

Let's see how tis works.. it's light duty, but maybe enough to discourage machine spam.
