Sometimes you can get lucky and be in the right place at the right time. In January 2008 while traveling between Udon Thani and chiang Mai with a friend we stopped for a night in Phitsanulok and the next day before we left I went for a walk along the street beside our hotel with my camera. I had just come around the corner when I noticed this women getting of her motorbike, she looked at me and I pointed my camera at her. She smiled and I took the shot, then she turned and went on her way. I had maybe 10 second to do this and within a minute she was gone. For me this photo captures the essence of Thailand, has even though this mum was busy she took time to smile and this made this photo.
Camera used was a Nikon D70s with a 18 to 55mm Nikon lens

Nice photo Charles! It's always fun when the subject engages the camera. I like the matching yellow helmets..
