To summarize using the viewfinder to isolate the scene will allow you to see different subjects, colors, light, scenes, moods, textures, and much more. Every possible compositional element comes into play including anticipated post processing and even movement within the scene.

Buy it with the intention of using it, and using it often and hard. What a great value that will turn out to be. Heck, virtually 100% of the images on this site were shot with one of the above cameras!

Extreme Image Processing

Sometimes our images are taken on someone else’s schedule, so we can’t wait for the best light or circumstances. The best we can do is to grab a solid composition and proper exposure and if we really like the image we can put in the effort to use advanced (extreme) image processing techniques to get the most out of them at a later time.
