Summer 2012 Workshops and Wedding Wrap-up
8/11/2012 8:00 AM By  anonymous

Was it worth it? Heck yeah! Nothing is more satisfying than teaching workshops or using my skills to pull off a complicated shoot except maybe catching up with good friends. I’ll be back this January.

Suanpalm Farmnok

Suanpalm Farmnok (bird farm) has long been on my “must visit” list for a number of reasons, but mostly because after being owned by a couple parrots for the last ten years I’ve developed a keen interest in these fascinating creatures.

The conservation and restoration work in the Bayon is completed and financed by the Japan government. JASA is the name of the organization.

The Thai authorities should be ashamed. This beach extend at least 10km’s that I could see and is full of garbage and if they’re dumping their garbage you can bet they’re dumping their sewage and the sea is toxic.

While visiting a friend in Hua Hin recently we decided to head out to the lesser populated and toured areas to see if we could find an area of interest to photograph. We settled on a small area immediately outside the city where squid is fished, processed, and sold.

I tried, with marginal success, to eliminate the effects of the haze, and if the images were taken individually you’d have a hard time putting your finger on it. But a series of images reveals the issues.

Safari World Bangkok

Safari World Bangkok as regular readers and workshop clients know, is one of my favorite short day trips. There is so much to enjoy, yet the greatest story untold lurks beneath the surface.
